In Term 3 2020, Merimbula Public School staff participated in professional learning sessions about local history and racism delivered by local Aboriginal community members David Dixon, Colleen Dixon, Glenda Dixon and Ellen Mundy.
A wealth of local knowledge and storytelling were shared, along with a cooking demonstration of traditional food and bush tucker. The staff found the day very informative and we would like to extend our thanks to the local community members for attending the day.
